I played the resort course. it was a real disappointment. the fairways were bare in places. Three of the greens were temporary. we won't return.

breakfast had a wide array of options that catered to every taste (especially the fresh fruit!).

The hotel may have been a 5 star standard decades ago. Now the paint is flaking on the balconies and the furniture looks very tired.

the breakfast offered a perfect variety of food and beverages. the private beach area was accessible by a convenient shuttle. staff members were super kind and provided excellent service.

my room had a sewage-like smell from the air conditioning, so i could not use it. i was unable to change rooms since the hotel was fully booked. the hotel is a little too far from alvor, so it required a car to get to town.
